CfB IdeaXchange Seminar Series

The Center for Biodevices IdeaXchange Seminar Series is a monthly seminar series that aims to catalyze new collaborative ideas among Penn State researchers working on topics that are related to the CfB’s research thrust areas: sensing and diagnostic devices; surgical devices; implantable devices; and wearable devices.

When: The third Friday of each month

Where: Zoom (link will be provided to CfB mailing list)

Time: 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Format: Two 30-minute talks (15-20 minute presentation followed by 10 minute Q/A and discussion)

Objective: The goal of the seminars is to stimulate new collaborative ideas and discuss challenges and opportunities for convergent research that can lead to high societal impacts. Therefore, it is important that speakers present partial or preliminary results to ignite new collaborations and highlight the areas where they are looking for collaborators.
